No place to go, Nowhere to run. Shivering body of mine.. so Chilled to the bone.
I offered my heart, my sole, my all,
Not a sign nor a telling of the impending fall.
Told early on of his "Single Red Rose", what it meant,
only offering woes.
The rose never comes to you without a price,
without the theft of your very life!
Lips afire consuming all of you, heat upon your flaming breasts,
wanting more of his touch; Cannot get enough,
or is it simply much too much?
When the moment arrives.... I can no longer wait,
Is this my true love
or the one that I hate?
Nothing matters now, I do not care!
"Come enter my body, strip it bare"!
Bodies throbbing...Pulsating together, not as two, yes we are as one.
Yet every instinct inside me pleading....
"Run, Run, Run!"
Reaching finality, a calming sense envelopes me,
Feeling so light feeling so free.
As I lie in the deafening silence, feeling reborn.......
I feel a burning upon my breasts, it is the dreaded stabbing thorn.
Forewarned ahead...
"This is how we will must part,"
I have now received my single red rose....
full of thorns....
upon my heart.
